Stop loss pooling is a way for employers to limit the risk of large health care claims impacting their health insurance premiums. Increased incidents of large drug claims (especially new drugs) are a major contributor to escalating claims costs. RWAM offers a variety of stop loss thresholds to accommodate group sizes and employer risk tolerance.

Funding Alternatives
RWAM's Profit Participation Plan (PPP) is a funding alternative which allows employers to share in the profitability of Group Health and/or Dental plans. In years when the Health or Dental plan generates an underwriting surplus participants will share in that surplus with the insurer. In years when the plan generates a deficit, the full deficit is the responsibility of the insurer.
More and more employers are considering self-funding certain aspects of their employee benefit plan. RWAM provides a seamless approach to pricing and administering Administrative Services Only (ASO) benefits in conjunction with insured benefits. Employers can choose from multiple insurance providers, while employees continue to enjoy the convenience of a one-time enrolment process and a consolidated employee Benefits Booklet.
A Health Spending Account (HSA) is an individual employee account, funded by the employer, which provides reimbursement of eligible health care expenses. Employers benefit from a convenient way to deliver tax-effective compensation, the ability to better budget their cash flow, by providing employees with greater choice.
In situations where an employer desires to provide supplemental benefit coverage for employees, a Cost Plus / Additional Reimbursement Benefit (ARB) arrangement may provide the right solution.
